An enterpriser is a person who

Explanation
The enterpriser sees the opportunity, brings land, labour and capital together to exploit it, and accepts the loss if the judgement proves wrong. A retrenched worker who uses her exit package to start farming is doing exactly that, since nobody guarantees her a return.
